The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree taught at the Faculty of Altea is designed to meet the needs and demands of a scenario in which the visual arts cover a range of increasingly broad professional and cultural practices.

The Bachelor has a workload of 240 ECTS credits distributed over four academic years.

Based on the valuation of tradition and the importance of a solid technical and contemporary conceptual training, especially since its integration in a context marked by the interdisciplinary nature of the media, the current curriculum of the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree aims to respond to the new training needs through a structure that includes two mentions of specialization, Visual Arts, Fine Arts and Design.

Thus, the first two years are joint and their function is to provide students a training grounds, to choose one of the two aforementioned specialisations in the last two years of their studies, even being able to attend the second specialisation in two more years.

The methodology of the curriculum is based on an active and personalized training and accessibility to facilities for the development of different practices and personal artistic projects, aspects that the characteristics of Campus Altea allow to develop optimally.
