Engaging various media and looking through the subject of solar energy technology, she explores dialectics central to discourses in painting and communication design, such as the ameliorative justify;\"><em>Energetic Conduits<\/em> presents two pieces that address ideas of functionalism and design in art in addition to notions central to the sublime, modernist form, landscape and backyard Do-It-Yourself technology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>DIY Gathering Tool<\/em>, a stack of take-away posters consisting of a pop-out schematic of an imagined solar energy collecting mechanism, provides the viewer the option of following the printed instructions to assemble the prototype solar technology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Solar Array<\/em>, an animation depicting the transportation, unfolding and installation of a solar energy collecting device in a northern landscape, locates an abstracted schematic in proximity to a naturalistic reflection of the surroundings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><div id=\"utvs_69d02ceee4a2c\" class=\"ut-shortcode-video-wrap \"><figure class=\"ut-video-caption\"><a class=\"ut-load-video\"
