Her sculptures are intended as meditation spaces where different thoughts and experiences are addressed. Her interest are the traces and records, the remains of our lives, the need for learning and recognition of what surrounds us. Through moulds and casting as the backbone of the creative process, she is interested in those practices where the object disappears or where the object is no longer important and she directs her interest towards two central questions: the imprint and the void.<\/p>\n<p>In her research she focuses on all those works and artists starting with the avant-garde that create moulds that will never be reproduced, which lead to her doctoral thesis in 2004, wherein she states that in contemporary art the spiritual exists thanks to the mould as &#8220;definitive&#8221; work, a mould that stops the casting process and that will not be made into a positive. All of this is related to different issues such as yoga, meditation, theories of negativity, the aura and the role of the art object, among others.<\/p>\n<p>She has been part of the research group Nuevos Procedimientos Escult\u00f3ricos (&#8220;New Sculptural Procedures&#8221;), in which she has developed several projects coordinated with the University of Vigo, Polytechnic University of Valencia, University of Castilla la Mancha, University of La Laguna (Tenerife) .
